This policy applies to thomastriesschijn.nl and explains what data is processed when you visit it, and your rights regarding that data, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable to visitors from the EU/EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What Data Is Collected
Hosting and server logs. This website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Webflow, Inc. When you visit the site, Webflow's servers automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and the date and time of access, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. This happens for every website and is not linked to your identity.
Fonts. This site loads the "Varta" typeface from Google Fonts' servers (fonts.googleapis.com). This means your browser connects directly to Google and transmits your IP address for that request.
Third-party scripts. A JavaScript library ("Swiper", used for image galleries/sliders) is loaded from the jsDelivr content delivery network. As with any external resource, your IP address is visible to that provider when the file is requested.
No cookies or tracking currently in use. As of the time this policy was written, this website does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, cookie-based tracking, or any similar profiling tool, and it does not run a contact/booking form that stores submissions in a database.
Contact by email. If you email info@thomastriesschijn.nl, the message content along with your name and email address is processed solely to respond to your enquiry (e.g. about concerts, bookings, or instrument rental), and is not shared with third parties or used for marketing without your separate consent.
Social media links. The website links out to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. These are plain links, not embedded widgets — no data is sent to those platforms until you actively click through, at which point their own privacy policies apply.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
Data is processed to operate and secure the website (legitimate interest / necessity for providing the service) and to respond to enquiries sent by email (necessary to take steps requested by you, or based on your consent in contacting us).
4. Data Sharing and International Transfers
Webflow, Google, and jsDelivr's underlying infrastructure may be located outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it relies on the respective provider's standard safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy framework). No data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.
5. Retention
Server logs are retained only as long as necessary for security and operational purposes, per the hosting provider's standard practice. Emails are kept as long as reasonably needed to handle the relevant enquiry or professional relationship, and deleted or archived thereafter.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@thomastriesschijn.nl.
If you are in Switzerland, you may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are in the EU/EEA, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
